Welcome

Welcome to Santiago-St. James! We are a multiethnic, multigenerational community of the Episcopal Church located in the heart of Oakland. We are a congregation of about fifty, enriched by a variety of backgrounds and spiritual life stages. Our Sunday worship is bilingual with a Latiné flavor. We prioritize community and putting faith into action above all else.  At the same time, we try to think outside the box while remaining connected to our traditions. Visit us any Sunday morning and you will find a spacious and welcoming place to gather and reflect on life’s deeper meanings and consider the actions we are called to take.
